Hi Chatelle,

I wanted to Thank You all for helping us host what is known as the “Best Event” of the Matco 2017 Expo! Everything was well organized and was exactly like we had discuss before the day of the event. The setting, decorations and food were fabulous. I must say the Seafood Pasta and Bread Pudding got huge thumbs up! The entire staff was wonderful. They were very polite, efficient and helpful through the entire evening. I would also like to thank Michelle for all the hard work she did for us. The entire night was flawless thanks to her!
Please thank Lee Benoit and the Band for turning a great evening into an unforgettable night! Several people ask for requests and with no
hesitation they were accommodating. I know they gained new fans from our group!
Finally, I want to thank you for all you did working with me the last 7 months to make this a huge success. I will definitely recommend
Mulate’s to anyone visiting the area just for dinner or if they are trying to plan an evening that memories are made of.

With Sincere Appreciation,

We selected Mulates’s to host our son’s rehearsal dinner. We wanted a location that was convenient for the guests as well as the locals. Our now daughter-in-law is from Indiana. We wanted a restaurant that could showcase typical New Orleans Cajun/Creole cuisine. From the gumbo to the stuffed pork loin to the bread pudding and everything in between, it was excellent. The room itself was beautifully decorated and easily accommodated our guests numbering over 200. The wait staff and bartenders were gracious and timely with their service. I cannot thank the owners and staff enough for creating such a wonderful experience. If we had to do it all over again there is not one thing about the evening we would change and we (the groom’s parents) highly recommend Mulates’s for a wonderful, delicious, fun filled rehearsal dinner.

Dear Chantelle,
This card says it all! Words cannot express how appreciative I am for all your help, guidance, and most importantly, kindness as we planned my cousin’s bridal shower. The event on February 14th was a major success, and our guests have raved about the space, food, and service. Michelle was phenomenal, so please share my gratitude with her once again. I had so much fun working with both of you and will continue singing your praises! It was a perfect event and put lots of smiles on our bride and groom’s faces. In light of recent events, their joy and happiness meant the world to all of us. Hayley, my cousin and the bride/guest of honor, said, “Let’s get married right now. This is so perfect!” I don’t know if you can get a better compliment than that. Thank you again for being so accommodating with the menu and especially the date change. Michelle was so patient with us that weekend, especially on Sunday when we arrived later than planned due to traffic. I hope the opportunity presents itself that we can work together again. You are wonderful at what you do, and I hope you continue to find much success in your position at Mulate’s. We will be back soon…especially for that spinach and artichoke dip!

Many Thanks,
Jaime Carroll

Monique and Michelle,
I am writing to express my sincere thanks for putting on such a great party for our out of town visitors on the evening of March 15th. I’m not sure if anyone told you this or not, but the people in attendance were from all over the United States. Mulate’s did a great job of representing New Orleans and Southeast Louisiana. Everybody I spoke to during and after the event was EXTREMELY complementary of the atmosphere, the music, the food and (of course) the beverages. You and your staff went “above and beyond” to make the evening a great success. I will definitely have Mulate’s at the top of my list next time I need to host any sort of event; I am copying Teri Evans from our Event Planning Group so she is aware of the success.

Thank you so much,
Rick

Good Morning Chantelle,
I just wanted to send a note to let you know that I spoke with the director of the Rectory School Group and she couldn’t wait to tell me what a wonderful time her group had at your restaurant. She was still in New Orleans and called to tell me I should recommend your restaurant to any group I send down there.

She usually travels with a small group of students each March. She has gone to New Orleans two years in a row- if she goes back next year I’m sure she will have me include Mulate’s.

Thank you and I look forward to working with you again,
Janet Buslewicz

Dear Chantelle and Michelle,
Just wanted to tell you both how very much I appreciated everything you did for our group on Tuesday night. Both of my bosses were thrilled with the set up and the food. Having the food waiting in a separate room was perfect! The service was great and everyone left smiling! On a personal note, I wanted to thank you for asking about my mom. That was very sweet. She celebrates her 81st birthday on Wednesday and I am thankful for every moment I have with her. Bree is one of the most beautiful and precious babies I have ever met. And I’m sure as her Mother and Godmother, you won’t argue with me on that. Thanks again for everything! I hope to see you both again soon. Hopefully we will have our 2014 National Convention in New Orleans and I will look you up for at least one group dinner.

Have a great weekend,
Sallie

Chantelle,
On behalf of the Cooper Family Reunion Committee and the entire family, let me express a heartfelt ‘THANK YOU’ and the entire crew at Mulate’s for making our 30th Annual Banquet such a smashing success. You guys provided excellent service with a smile, prompt attention to our every request, pleasurable arrangements…and I haven’t even gotten to the food yet. OK…the food…delicious, plentiful, best of New Orleans, a real Cajun treat, professionally presented, delicately spicy, a tummy-warming treat…AND THE BREAD PUDDING…to die for!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m certain all of us would like to order a pound of the bread pudding and have it sent to use every weekend…despite the hazardous results it would have on our svelte figures. Thanks for everything…Mulate’s will always be my number one dining destination when I return to the Big Easy.

Hello Ms. Monique,
I wanted to tell you what a wonderful event we held at your venue. From planning (with Chantelle) to execution (Michelle, Timothy, Mike, and Chantelle) it was by far, the most memorable event we had while in New Orleans. Chantelle took care of every detail in planning. Over the few months we planned our group dinner, Chantelle was never too busy to take my calls, answer my endless questions, and assure me that we would be taken care of. I arrived at Mulate’s two days prior to our event to look at the space and have lunch. Michelle took me to the private room and accommodated my every wish for set up and room configuration. I left there knowing we were in good hands. I also had lunch and found the food and service to be top notch. The night of the event, we had a full staff of people, hustling about, setting up our room. Michelle, Chantelle, Timothy, Mike (and other gentlemen I didn’t meet) were very professional and stopped to help us if we needed it with our set up of audio visual equipment, or anything else. Everything was exactly as promised. The food was fantasic, I had lots of great feedback on the flavors, quality, and service. The bar was well stocked (as promised) and they were able to handle our large group flawlessly. All with smiles, they are very warm, genuine, caring people. They made me look like a million bucks. I just wanted to pass along what a great job your hospitality team did, and let you know that these are very special people you have hired to take care of your customers. Please pass along a JOB WELL DONE to all of them from us. We will never forget them, and I hope to get to Mulate’s again soon.

Hi Chantelle,
I want to thank you for everything for my group reservation last Saturday. It was a huge success and I want to thank you for the suggestion to use the hall in the end. It really added to the last night closing ceremony. Sorry I wasn’t available on the day you called, but I’s glad the weather held and everything worked out.

Thanks again and have a great afternoon,
Sandi Hilton

To whom it may concern:
I am the Conference & Meeting Planning Associate for Celgene Inc. I wanted to take a few moments of your time and let you know that your staff are exceptional! I’m sure that this isn’t anything new for you, but with all the events that I manage in a year, believe you me, the staff that you work with can either make or break an event. I began working very closely with your staff, Chantelle Washington specifically, beginning in the summer of 2013 to plan our Celgene Canadian Lunch Corner which took place at Mulate’s during the citywide conference- ASH 2013 in New Orleans. She was absolutely wonderful and accommodating to our needs. I know that in the beginning, I was requesting some things that were not the ordinary requests that your restaurant was used to, however, there was never a NO. She was always willing to find out and check out or look into- no request was too difficult. Always very professional and truly accommodating taking pride and ownership for everything she did and making me very comfortable and my process worry free. Other members of your staff that I worked with and wanted to mention to you was Michelle, Timothy, Henry, and Michael. They all jumped in and serviced our needs during the 3-4 days we were there and I absolutely loved them. They all feel like family to me now. You really do have a gem of a location for the Conference Centre and great staff to handle your private events. Please make sure that they are all recognized from this letter. Our original numbers (based on previous years) were low, and we ended up having record breaking attendance over the 3 days. Your staff were lifesavers…they just kept cooking and we never ran out! (It reminds me of the 5 loaves & fishes story in the bible-LOL.) We are excited and can’t wait for ASH to be back in New Orleans. As soon as I know the year we will be back, we would like to utilize your facilities once again is you would be available for us to return. I will definitely reach out to Chantelle and put a soft hold on the dates once I know them. Thank you so much for a job well done. I would not hesitate to recommend your restaurant to any of my colleagues if they are ever in the area! Once again, my apologies for being so late with this email- but felt it was necessary to send.

Regards,
Debbie Radkowski

Hi Chantelle,
Just wanted to let you know that everything was great on Friday. Everyone enjoyed every minute of the event…your venue was a hit to my family members- they really liked the quality of the food that was served (my favorite was the blackened fish). I’m still bragging on the service your business provided and will be telling everyone that it’s the place to use for reunions, etc. Thanks again for everything and will be contacting you on any future events that I will need to plan.

Meryll

Miss Chantelle:
Many thanks for allowing my military retired group (MOAA) to have a great time at Mulate’s, this past Friday evening. From your own patience in working with me on numerous changes, to the table location and finally for the evening itself, everything went very well and the feedback I received from my own group was outstanding. Wait staff did a superb job, our table was Andy and he did a superb job at our table. Other tables indicated similar comments. Our overall weekend was very successful for my Chapter in NOLA hosting the state group and you and your team at Mulate’s did a fantastic job setting the tone for the entire weekend. And oh, by the way, food was delicious also.

Many Thanks,
John White

Good morning Chantelle,
First a huge thanks to you and your team for hosting our event on Wednesday…my guests loved the Acadia Room, the delicious ‘taste of NOLA’ and the genuine warm and friendly hospitality of your staff. Well done!

Regards,
Duane Pukett

Murphy,
My whole group again raved about how good you and your staff are to us. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent and nobody walked away hungry or thirsty. Everyone wanted me to pass on to you how much they appreciate everything you do for us and how they can’t imagine a better way to start the day. As for changing anything, I’m not sure how you could make it any better.
On a personal note, my brother, his wife and son and Karen and I were looking for a place to watch the Super Bowl last night. We were walking around and looking for a place and I mentioned Mulate’s. Everyone was in favor so we came in. Again, we were treated like royalty- Michelle’s fiancé (Phil) waited on us and then she even comp’d our meal, which was totally unexpected and greatly appreciated. If anyone ever asks where they should eat, you are ALWAYS my first recommendation.
Again you and your team are the best!

Thank you again for everything,
Derek
