This is a perfect daytime drink especially during the Carnival season. Of course, you can enjoy a Bourbon Milk Punch in morning and at night in the Crescent City. However, Bourbon Milk Punch is most commonly served during brunch.
What You Need
2 cups low-fat milk
2/3 cup half -and-half
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups bourbon
1/3 cup powdered sugar
Freshly ground nutmeg for garnish
How It’s Done
In a pitcher, combine milk, half-and-half, vanilla and bourbon. Add powdered sugar and stir until blended. Pour over ice into individual glasses and top with ground nutmeg. This should make about 4 drinks.
